Options for Payment of the Athletic Participation Fee
(August 2010)
 

I.  The preferred option is to pay online with a credit card or debit card.

• MasterCard, Visa, Discover cards accepted

• A 2.25% processing fee, on the total amount paid, will be assessed to your payment.

• You must have the student name and ID number to make an online payment.

• The online payment link is  https://webpay.easydraft.com/CS/CMS-Athletics.  You can also find the online payment link on the CMS Website (click on Athletic Participation Fee).  

• Follow the prompt to either create a profile or to make a single payment. If you choose to create a profile, your information is stored for future visits to the site. If you choose to make a single payment, you will be required to enter your information every time to use the site.

• Follow the online prompts/instructions – note the drop down boxes and the required fields.

• Click on scholarship donations if you are making a donation to the general scholarship fund. All donations paid online go to the general scholarship fund.

• Make sure to print a copy of the Successful Payment page for your records.

• You will receive an email verification of your payment which you can email to the school athletic director as verification of payment.

• Contact your school athletic director with questions or concerns.
   

 II.      Pay with a check or money order directly to Myers Park High School (NO CASH).   

• Download the Athletic Fee Worksheet (Form).  Payment must be accompanied with the form filled out completely.  No payment can be turned in without this form as this information is vital to be able to properly credit the student athlete with the payment, which will keep them eligible.
   
• Make the check or money order payable to Myers Park High School.  
   
• You must have the student name and ID number to make a payment at the school.
   
• Payments can be made in the front office, marked to the attention of Kory Formon.  
   
• Coaches/athletic directors cannot accept payment of participation fees.
   
• Cash payments cannot be accepted. 
   
• Make sure to obtain and keep a receipt of your payment for your records.
   
•  Contact your school athletic director with questions or concerns.

Information on Participation fee for 2010-2011

CMS has implemented a participation fee for High School and Middle School sport participants. The fee for high school is $100 and $50 for middle school. This is a per season participation fee.

You can pay the fee online beginning 25 August (website address to be announced) with credit card (Visa and Mastercard) or debit card. The second option is to pay the school financial secretary with check or money order. No cash will be taken. The deadline for receiving the fee is 15 September. If the fee has not been received at that time the student athlete will be removed from the roster.

All student-athletes beginning their junior year are encouraged to register with the NCAA Eligibility Center.

All student-athletes must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center prior to making any official school visits or receiving a written offer of athletically related financial aid.
